Jessica's Senior Shoot

Today I had the pleasure of taking Jessica's senior photos. Jessica was visiting Orlando from Kansas and thought it would be a great time to get her senior pictures done. I am so glad she called me; I love working with seniors!

You know the saying that the cobblers kids have no shoes? Well, it is true. I have been so busy taking other people's pictures that I haven't taken any of my kids. So Christmas Eve, while the prime rib was cooking, we headed to the beach for a quick photo shoot. These are my babies and my inspiration!

Engagement Shoot

Today I took John & Sarah's engagement pictures. What a cute couple! Even though it was a wee bit chilly on the beach, we had a great shoot! I can't wait until their wedding in June!

My Merritt Island Christian School Photography Students

I am so excited! My Merritt Island Christian photography students rock; 14 out of 22 were accepted to show their work at the All State Art Expo in Tampa. This is quiet a honor! God is blessing Merritt Island Christian School! :)

I have a new love... taking pictures of people with their pets. These cute puppies made the shoot fun, and they even look like they are smiling!

Johnson Family Shoot

It's a small world... I received a phone call about taking family pictures the day after Thanksgiving for a family in Merritt Island. Little did we know, that we all knew eachother. I taught each one of their kids 10 years ago. Now they are all grown up with beautiful families of their own. What a blessing it was to spend a chilly afternoon taking pictures of this special family!

Yesterday, I got to take sweet Asyhia's pictures for her modeling portfolio. She is a beautiful girl, and the camera loves her. I have no doubt that she will be a success!

Wow, You want to see some really talented elementary students? Check out GEMS Show Stoppers. Under the direction of Carolyn Barone, these kids perform like little adults. If you ever get a chance to see them around town, check them out; they are good!

Merritt Island Christian Homecoming

I love my job! This year I got to plan homecoming. We had a crazy, fun- filled week including: building parade floats, bowling, lip sync, powder puff, and pack the gym. We kicked the week off with a dance on the Indian River Queen. It was a beautiful, windy night witha full moon. The kids had a fantastic time, and I enjoyed taking their pictures and being a part of their fun week. You can check out their pictures under events on my website.

I just want to say a big thank you to the seniors that I have had the priveledge of shooting so far. You guys make my job fun, and I am happy to be part of your senior year. Each one of you have an exciting road ahead of you, and I can't wait to see how God uses you for His kingdom. Ryan and David: I am so happy you guys tagged along on your sister's senior shoot. It made my heart happy to see how you guys interact with your big sisters! :)
